I scanned 12880-V-20000 on 119. I couldn't find logs for DVBDream that show anything useful, but I have attached the logs from GBPVR. GBPVR didn't find any stations, but DD found the following (may not be a complete list):

USA
TVLND
CMDY
LIFE
OXYGN
TCM
TBS
VH1
CNBC
MSNBC
HBO2W
CD AND SIRI channels (10 or more)

That scan you tried in GB-PVR was for 12399,V,20000,56. I guess this isnt what you intended to do? or is the info you posted above incorrect?

The attached transponder INI files for DN might work better than the ones I posted earlier.

In this log, the capture device never managed to lock onto a signal, so no data was ever delivered to GB-PVR for it to scan for channels.

Can you try repeating the test with DebugView running (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysin...96647.aspx), then post the DebugView output?

Playing around with the config file settings, I was able to get it to work. Here is what I used:
-- <BDAPsiScanStartupSeconds>2</BDAPsiScanStartupSeconds>
-- <BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>25</BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>
-- <BDATwinhanDiseqcMethod>2</BDATwinhanDiseqcMethod>

A few extra notes:
1. I often get Strength and Quality = 0 while scanning other transponders, though channels are found.
2. By setting the following during my scan of 12399V20000, I show a signal strength of 90 and quality of 80 (though channels are still not found):
-- <BDAPsiScanStartupSeconds>5</BDAPsiScanStartupSeconds>
-- <BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>40</BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>
-- <BDATwinhanDiseqcMethod>0</BDATwinhanDiseqcMethod>
3. When I run a scan on 12399V20000 with the default settings in the config, I show about 11 "unknown" channels with the first channel being USA, I believe. However, if I increase BDAScanWaitSeconds to 20 and scan again, no channels are found.

Would you still like me to run DebugView while scanning and post the results?

Yes, though you may get nothing - I just wanted to see if the version of the drivers you're running output any tuning info.

Got nothing from DebugView, though I ran the scan multiple times, each time with different config settings.

My general conclusion is that there is not one "right" setting for StartupSeconds and WaitSeconds. I get some channels when scanning with the standard config settings along with some "unknowns". A second scan with different settings - usually increasing the values for each of the variables listed above - resolves the unknowns from the first scan, but may mark previously found channels as "unknown" (if that makes sense).

That can be normal. Twinhan have varied the number of messages they output with different versions of the drivers. Some builds had no messages in the release drivers, some had one or two lines per tuning attempt, some had lots.

Try creating a c:\temp directory, and add an HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Devnz\LogPsiProcessing=2(DWORD), then scan that frequency again, then zip and attach the c:\temp\psi.log and I'll take a look, then delete the registry key (or it will cause performance problems).

Attached is the psi log from my scan. I ran the scan on sat 110, 12224V20000. My config settings were:
<BDAPsiScanStartupSeconds>2</BDAPsiScanStartupSeconds>
<BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>25</BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>
<BDATwinhanDiseqcMethod>2</BDATwinhanDiseqcMethod>

The LOF/Switch settings were 11250-0-11250 with Device 1, Diseqc B. "Ignore PMT CRC errors during scan" and "Parse Dishnetwork EIT tables (EPG Data) were checked. For device type, I selected Twinhan DVB-S (DVB-TV 878 Digital Tuner Driver) and I have the BDA drivers (not WDM) installed.
