That sounds like you are accessing the media source with a different user id. If you are using a userid and password use the same one in script.cgi if not try with with root. Also if you have write access to the share you need ,rw and not ,ro because for some reason the NMT uses rw mode.

Okay, I'm a little lost, so let me answer what I think you said. I am currently using no password or user id with Vista. Also, I don't know if it means I have write access or not, but I can delete files from the PCH on the computer. So for instance a television program once watched, can be deleted.

Come to think of it though, that wasn't through my "media" folder, so I'm not sure if it's different. I have not specifically set up any folder to have write access, nor have I set it up to not. Purposely anyway.

That make any sense or help?

You probably need to change -o guest,ro to either

-o username=root,ro
or
-o username=root,rw

Deleting via GPBVR isn't really done by the PCH so that share values aren't relevant.

Since I'm at work right now, I'm not sure. Is that located in only one script or multiple?
