Just downloaded and installed the plugin from the wiki
(ran Batch-Installer.exe). When GBPVR config opened, I enabled plugins. When I opened PVRX2 (1.3.7), there was no new music plugin. When I tried to re-open GBPVR config, I received an error msg (attached).

Ran the music plugin uninstall - GBPVR config still would not run.

In Add or Remove Programs, tried to fix the GBPVR install - ended up rolling back.

Removed and reinstalled GBPVR.

Working at restoring recurring and "Ready" recordings; and getting PCH to work again.

That looks like the error jksmruf had when he had too many MVP's defined in is config.xml

Always had just 1 defined.

It's probably worth disabling MVPPosition anyway since that look like the problem (your earlier logs had plugins disabled so you wouldn't have noticed.

Hello - Thanks for offering support for Music. The plugin seems to install fine, but when I use MusicScanner, I get a "unhandled exception" when "Creating MD5 hash folder images." I've installed and reinstalled GB-PVR 1.3.7 and the plugin, and it still doesn't work. Do you know what might be happening? I looked over the Music beta thread, and I didn't see this exact problem there. I've attached the log. Thanks.

I have the same issue. I think Mixman is right that it has to do with latin characters. When I ripped my CDs names like Olga Tanon that have the "~" sign over the "N" and names like Sinead O'Connor that have the accent over the "E" turned into strings like this: "©€®™"

I think the symbols are causing the musicscanner to bork. At least I hope that is the cause, I really like the plug in.

I have not had the chance to clean it all up to see if it helps since I have 3000+ songs and there are issues with the album and/or the artist names in a lot of them.

I disabled MVPPosition and now it works.

I changed a music folder name to this and there where no problems when creating Folders MD5 hash images.

Folder names, artist tag or .....?
