dvb-t
maybe you chose the wrong scan (area) when you did the scan or your signal was weak
but load up monogram and power dvd first and the patch

http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...ostcount=7

Video codec I'd look at the powerdvd trial - version 8

Monogram codec - http://blog.monogram.sk/janos/2008/04/20...oder-0950/ (sound)

Coolness - the patch fixed my tvnz issue. I'll get the codecs now.

lol it helped me the other day i meant. Also it was only introduced in 1.3.7 so if you'd scanned before putting down 1.3.7 you wouldn't know you have the problem until you re-scanned.

Well, I installed the CyberDVD and did a reboot and the dvb-t source couldn't be found. According to the device manager there's a problem with the drivers so I've reinstalled the hauppage drivers and it's now working again. Don't know what happened there.

Scanning isn't showing up TVNZ again - the patch isn't helping there at all this time. I can now see video in the preview box on the mapping window though, and in the main application, although it is very jumpy and the video doesn't synch with the sound.

Logs attached again ... thanks for you all your help. Smile

Oh, forgot to say, I downloaded that audio codec, but have no idea what to do with a .ax file, or where to put it.

ETA - I've solved the judderyness on TV3 and the sync issues by playing around with the playback settings. I'm still missing TVNZ though -- not sure if that's good or bad. Wink

look up how to register a ax file

tv3 uses ac3 or aac for the sound where as tvnz the dumbasses only use aac hence the reason you you need the mongram decoder

dont know why its not seeing tvnz for you though maybe you need to select a different area or all regions or all countries if you have not tried when you added the card (go back and edit it )

I'm glad all of that makes sense to you. It's all greek to me. Smile I've registered that codec, will give it a try in a minute when the scan's finished.

I selected all countries - looks like this will take a while.
