Sorry, no. I was seeing the same problem with your sample file here though, but I ran out of time as I got super busy for my day-job for the next few days.

OK, thanks for taking the time to download my sample file and all. I understand that you're busy. Whenever you get a chance to work on this, I'd appreciate it if you could take some more time to help me get this working.

Just for the fun of it I downloaded the file and played it with VLC-mediaplayer, and I did hear sound, so the problem seems to be a playback problem. But you may already know that?

Yes, I already knew that. In an earlier post in this thread, I said that I had tried playing the file with VLC and it played perfectly. So yes, it is a playback problem.

I think I've got to the bottom of this problem with missing audio for people using the old HD-PVR firmware that defaults to AAC. Try the attached patch. I get audio playing the sample supplied earlier in this thread.

Thanks sub that worked for me. Since I only had 3 recordings in the old format I wasn't going to say anything but this fixed the sound issue with the .aac format.

YEEESSSssssss!!! Hopefully this patch works for me as well. Im running GB_PVR 1.3.7 and am having the no sound during playback issue with .ts files ive recorded on my HD-PVR. LiveTV works great though. Ive tried just about every combo of decoders available to me and they didnt work. I cant wait to get home and try this out!!! If it works, sub you are the man!!!

This a patch for 1.3.11, not 1.3.7.

Oooopps. Ill have to upgrade to 1.3.11 then. Fortunately the patch still worked for me on 1.3.7. Ive been thikning about a complete rebuild anyway. Thanks!!
