Is this with the current skin set back to Community-SD?.

It wasn't, but I just tried it again with Community-SD and got the same...

Need an emoticon for DOH! Never thought to try the installer with an active skin of anything other then the CommuntiySkin (always clicked yes here during tests...)..

I did think it might be something related to that, but I was too shy to say:o

Will have to think about this, for now treat a yes click as required. May have to take this option out, fatmando?


A uninstall and re-install would fix this but as there are some files missing in the installer it's probably best to wait untill fatman_do creates a new one.

I'll try the uninstall anyway...

I did the uninstall - seemed to run OK - Community-SD removed. Blue-Retro-SHV still corrupted though.

Absolutely no problem - easily fixed... A disclaimer might be useful, but I usually expect to find minor hiccups with BETAs.

Anyway, I re-installed allowing community-SD to become the default skin - installed fine, except (why do I always seem to break stuff) there is a conflict with the old skin plugin - both old and new appear in config (with the same name) but only one shows in pvrx2 and it's the old version - it dies with a skin error

How do I change defaults? I really hate the GBPVR logo but I can't get rid of it so it hurts my appreciation of this skin. Changing things via the NMT don't seem to do anything and on the PC it just crashes.

See the the Known Issues page on the wiki re editing the skin via an NMT.

Wait for a post from fatman_do saying he's added the required missing files to the installer package and created a new build, this will also include a small change to the SkinPluginHelper.exe which should avoid the crashes you're seeing.

I'm going to work with 2 systems--1 with 4:3 and the other widescreen. I'll see how they work.
I must say, at first glance, this is truly awesome work! Wish I had some 'stimulus' to send your way but just know I'll drink an extra beer ( or 2) in your honor tonite.
