Lacking any new information by the time I got to the lost hour, I just bumped the system clock on the box an hour ahead at around 7:05pm PST, and in turn told Windows not to adjust the clock itself tomorrow morning. So I'm an hour ahead until 2am, but all the recordings will go off as scheduled.

Hopefully whatever has caused this problem will be fixed by November.

Well another Time Change has come and gone, and I've done some thinking...

It seems that most EPG providers will give you a start and stop time that includes an offset based on your timezone. And that is what causes the problems when importing into GB-PVR: the gap in hours is also affected by the offset...

Whurston had written into his xmltv serializer the removal of the offset value, and so when GB-PVR imports, the Time Change gap happens at exactly when it's supposed to happen.

I'm using his serializer in UltraXMLTV Enhancer 2 and my test code, which enhanced my epg for the last bunch of days, made sure GB-PVR didn't miss a beat. I actually stayed awake to be sure.

So I guess the next test will be in a few months
