Fall TV cheat sheet (US): What's in? What's out?

Ok, so I watched the first two episodes tonite and I'm willing to watch more. It started to grow on me a bit and I always try to give new shows 4-5 tries to get the know the characters as it usually takes that long to figure them out.
I can at least see why so many people enjoy it.

I'm mixed on Dollhouse: this storyline is not the best of Joss' work (I liked Firefly much better) but on the other hand, it is Joss' work. For that reason alone, I haven't missed a single episode.

The hotties are fine and all but to be honest, it all comes down to it being a Joss Whedon show for me.

I think in the course of exploring "why the dollhouse exists" (they hinted at it repeatedly in the first season), the storyline is going to get a lot better. I thought that Alpha's existence was interesting in the course of charting the show's initial premise that you can't wipe someone completely clean, but when it came down to his episode, it was a little bit of yawn.

I liked Firefly better too, which is why, when I read dollhouse was on Fox, I wept. Well I didn't weep, but I wanted to. At least they didn't toss it all over the schedule like a hot potato (although they did force some rewrites--idiots).

I'm almost finished watching all of them. Got 3 left. The first 4 were definitely slower. Then, they really picked up fast.....thankfully.
So, is there going to be a 13th episode?

Sounds like no (until the DVDs are released). Unless you meant the start of season 2, in which case it sounds like yes.
