[b Wrote:Quote[/b] (sub @ Feb. 07 2005,22:04)]If you get this error about the color converter not being present, disable the 'live preview mode' setting on the config app, then the livetv should behave as it did in previous releases.
Everytime I clicked on the Live TV setting in the main menu, i get that error message. Even if I tried to watch Live TV from the TV Guide, it would give me the Error: Object reference not set as an instance.

never heard of color converter being present.

Well, its probably a different problem then. Send you logs to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look.

Yay!

AFter going through config, i found the live preview option and i disabled it and now i can watch live tv!

The weird thing is, prior to 0908, i didn't have this problem. Now everytime i watch live t.v. it says "Starting timeshift..."

oh well as long as it works! Thanks!

The new live preview mode didn't exist before v0.90.8.

If you want to also get live preview mode working, temporarily reenable it, reproduce the problem, then email the logs to me at support@devnz.com

I'm nervous to touch the settings again.

If I do send the logs, what log file do you want in particular? I see people posting all this stuff.

I just had to rebuild my machine over the weekend and I ran into the same problem.  Uninstall gbpvr and then make sure that the gbpvr directory is gone.  It must be completely removed.  Reinstall gbpvr and then everything works.  If you have more than one card, I suggest installing one at a time and make sure that the first works before installing the second.  I did not do any hardware clears or anything else along those lines.  I just removed the program and then deleted the gbpvr directory by hand.  The database was not removed and was causing my problem.
