Thanks, it didn't take a sirius amount of effort. I wouldn't mind see the logs of some playback to make sure it is doing things the way I expect.

Tested it on the pc only so far..
Pulls up the artist/title onto the bottom of the menu screen nicely.. but once the screensaver kicks in, the info is one cycle old. Only once the 3rd track started playing, then the info on the screensaver changed to the 2nd song's info. It was showing the correct 3rd song info on the menu screen when I clicked to clear the screen saver. Logs attached. Oh, btw.. should the skin subfolder still be /Web Radio (with the space) ? Im using blue currently, so my path is C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\Skin2\blue\web radio\skin.xml (I also have a skin2.xml ?)

Had an odd thing happen to me on the MVP earlier. Was playin with the kids and suddenly the music stopped. First key I poked at was the play button.. the music resumed.. then I found I could pause and play the track (I guess its getting buffered like a stream to the c:/temp file). Monkeying around, I pressed the prev track button, and it went to a previous song (the first song maybe ?).. but.. after that the screen saver came off and I had no more control ! The ff/rew buttons now controlled the UI instead of the music. Is this normal ?
Thanks for the update to the dll.. the track info in screensaver now displays correctly.

The MVP and NMT will treat WebRadio streams just like audio tracks, the client don't now what the source is and since GBPVR doesn't allow navigating in audio you are always controlling the UI. From the clients you should only get Pause, Stop, Mute and Vol +/- media control.
PrevTrack might restart the audio queue on the clients if that is how GBPVR processes it, I really am not sure and without your logs, I can't say. Losing control in GBPVR is likely if you use MLPanel as your screensaver, just go back into WebRadio to get control. Martin

Sometimes when I select a Sirius station, it will display the station name on the screen and then start to display the artist/title (as per norm).. but no audio. If I reselect the station, it will display the count-up clock, then the buffer size, then finally the artist/song.. and plays proper audio. Note there was no count-up or buffer display the first time.
In the MVP log, I note this on the first try: 8 17:32:32.217 VERBOSE [6] incremental frame sent 2009-12-18 17:32:32.655 VERBOSE [6] UbuRecorder: StayAliveInterval: 5000 2009-12-18 17:32:32.686 VERBOSE [6] UbuRecorder: Sending TCP request...5->STOP^ 2009-12-18 17:32:32.717 VERBOSE [6] UbuRecorder: Received TCP response: OK 2009-12-18 17:32:32.717 VERBOSE [6] UbuRecorder: Sending TCP request...329->START^C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe^C:\temp\gbnetradio-0.mp3^http://127.0.0.1:51710/sirius?channel=51 -I logger --no-video --no-sub-autodetect-file --ignore-config --verbose=2 --no-video out=#transcode{acodec=mp3,ab=192,samplerate=44100}:duplicate{dst=std{access=file,mux=dummy,dst="C:\temp\gbnetradio-0.mp3"}}^False^ 2009-12-18 17:32:32.780 VERBOSE [6] UbuRecorder: Received TCP response: OK 2009-12-18 17:32:32.780 VERBOSE [6] UbuRecorder: Start response: OK 2009-12-18 17:32:32.780 VERBOSE [6] UbuNetStreamPlayer.VlcRecorder: StartRecording complete. Bug in Ubu ? Ill try and capture a clean log in the next while..

I don't think that there is a real problem here. Between streams there can be 5 seconds or more delay for all the different things to tear down and restart.
MVP <- GBPVR <- transcoded file <- VLC input <- SiriusStream proxy <-Sirius online When you add in the fact the MVP GUI lags a bit, it's actually pretty amazing how automated it is.. Martin

My log rolled off already to grab the timeline for that last example.. but see where it refuses to start recording the gbnetradio mp3 file ? It then sat doing an idle for about 2 mins, until I hit Enter again.. then it started over with a STOP etc (per normal), but this time VLC records the file (and I get audio).
I know, I know.. logs logs Ill capture em next time around.

Yes I saw the Start, but I ignored what followed because it is not even a second after the Stop. If it doesn't start in twenty seconds, just start again, the text on the screen will likely be wrong.
