A new version of Web Radio is available for download http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/uploads/Plugin/NWebRadio.zip

Web Radio changes

- support Digital Radio on client PC's
- reduced wait time for Digital Radio on the NMT
- fixed bug in config with UserMenu.xml
- improved messaging while buffering playback
- supports album art positioning for List and Icon view.
- added 16x9 and 16x10 skins (Thanks Jaggy)

Addons didn't change.

Hi,

I'm really liking the digital radio support, but I'm seeing two entries for every digital radio station - one entry for each tuner.

Is this the intended behaviour?

It is because I don't know the rule to select the priority of one tuner over another to ensure the priority tuner does recording. You probably could create a WebRadio format xml manually to make it easier.

No I'm probably not! I wish I was. I disabled ALL plugins about 6 weeks ago so I could get back to the basics of NPVR. It is brilliant that I can run GB-PVR and NPVR on the same machine, but when doing boring tasks like trying to get a screenshot of something (without complicating the issue) everything has to go.

Mind you..... think I'm getting Mrs Steeb round to the idea of getting a Win7 Laptop, now that would

a) Solve a lot of issues
b) Create some more!

thank you and cheers

Hey,

been using this pluging with gbpvr with no probs, altough, I can't figure it out on nPVR...

How can we define external players for v3.3?

I've tried adding the following code to config.xml file, but it doesn't seem to take it...
<WebRadio>
<player>c:\Program Files\Winamp\winamp.exe</player>
</WebRadio>

thx in advance,
Nick

Although I don't know if the Winamp support was ported into v3, I didn't bother testing it, from the wiki "Note starting with 2.10 this information is now stored in WebRadio.xml "

Hia, Thx for the reply,

I already search for the WebRadio.xml but I can't seem to find it.

Another question.
I'm currently using nPVR to play internet streams, so I'm not using a tuner. (The one I prefer to listen to is http://www.friskradio.com)
How can we add our own stations this plug-in? Right now I'm using the Net radio function
(so it detects the net radio pls files that are created in the PVRX2 net radio folder)
But this version does not support multiple addresses.

The net radio plug-in that PVRX2 supported just started playing another from the next address that was in the pls file...
This came in very handy sinds my favourite radio station has multiple addresses and some of them are sometimes down.
So when the first one is down, I'm getting the "no external player selected' error message.

I'm guessing this would be automatic added If we could select an external player indeed.

thx in advance,
Nick

If you download the WebRadio add-on it will create WebRadio.xml where you can change the player and a MyRadioStations.xml where you can add your own stations by direct stream or via a local pls/m3u file. I'd bet some of these expanded internet services show friskradio and it would be a matter of adding the station to your favourites.

If you install VLC (recommended) then WebRadio will automatically use it as an external player.
