almost identical to the Myka's specs...but i kinda like the Myka's box better..
i've got my eye on the Myka, but finances are a bit low after getting stuff for a mini-itx build..

Quote: @JonnyCam, why not just post-process your LATM files and get the full experience? I wrote the hook in WR to show what is possible.

Unfortunately, laziness I think...:o
I'll have a go, guess I just parse the channel number / name (whatever GBPVR provides) and then use ffmpeg to do that?

I also have a problem with skipping on some of my TS files (skip forward, might go back, might skip to some point in the file),
Would I just run something like the TS4NP program to fix that type of thing? (or should I stop being lazy, and write a support thread with some logs)

Thanks for all of your great work with the product. Without it, I wouldn't be geting any of my h264 channels in the bedroom.

It needs vlc, the command line is in a post I've linked to couple of times.

Open a new thread the next time it happens and I will have a look. The on-the-fly LATM files won't be skippable Any file that shows a bad timeline in GBPVR (some still just say 0:01 length) sub would need to fix. As for fixing files it depends on the problem. TS4NP cleans files but tsMuxeR for my needs repairs timelines better.

Cheers, I' found the VLC command, but it choked sometimes on my signal errors etc (hence the need for a TS fixer)

Thanks

I recently picked up a refurb'd B110 just so I could run your client - so there ya go. I appreciate all your hard work. Now I'm tempted to also pick up the A110 too...

I just ordered a re-furb'd unit straight off the popcorn hour website. It cost me something like US$115 plus shipping to NZ. I can't exactly remember the cost of shipping, but it was very reasonable.

The thing I really like about the B110 is the on-board surround decoding. Funny thing is that PCH made it very clear that the B110 was the baseline model with only analog stereo decoding. But anything I play with Dolby Digital or DTS is decoded by the B110 onboard, so I have connected to an old analog 5.1 sound system, and surround works just great.

I just happended to notice that there were refurb B110 units on the NMT forums. Keep an eye on the forums to see when refurbs come up.

I'd love one of those A110 units too, but I have a nice big mortgage and have just dropped to a single income, so it may just have to go begging!

If you're keen to order one, go for it. I had no problem at all ordering one and getting it delivered to me here in Aotearoa.

Cheers,
Bill.

EDIT: Just found my receipt. B110 was US$119 and shipping was US$30.

If you have a B110, the A110 isn't an upgrade anyway, and if you have a nice mini-itx HTPC anyway it's a good option. If you wanted to use the case for something, the A110 could end up being the same price less if you sell the B110 on ebay.

Don't worry, I don't intend to stop supporting the original PCH's, I use mine everyday. As long as sub supports the server, I will support the client.

Also there's talk on the NMT forums that there will be a real XBMC app for the A1x0. If that pans out these may actually go up in value (and be harder to get)
