NPVR, Aspect Ratio, Page Down, Delete

I've modified the MCE remote support to do a page up/down on CH+/- in the next build.

The next build also has a 'delete' button in the video library.

Yeah! Both of these have been stumbling blocks for me.

What version of HIP did you try? It's more that a couple of weeks since the W7 version came out. Have you reported any problem on the HIP-forum?

Reddwarf - After loading HIP and finding that it would not work I searched the HIP forum and found others discussing what appears to be the issue. I did not see a need to add another voice to the discussion. I think this forums PBS is also on the HIP forum and appears to be across the issue so I have dropped him a note. There is a recent post about a Beta release that looks promissing.

Dear Sub, Any chance you can fit this one in the next release too: Default the Aspect Ratio to "Auto" or "last selected" when playing videos from the Videos List screen.

Thats top of my list at the moment. Understood if you cant fit it in - huge job bringing in a release as large as this.

I really should have made separate post for each item Ah well - live and learn.

Reddwarf - Thanks - I will have another go on the weekend. Are you using an MCE dongle on Windows 7 ? If you are - can you tell me whether you needed to use the alternative MCE driver to get it working or was the native driver ok ?

No I'm using the Terratec remote with an USBUIRT as receiver.

Sub has solved the the Page Up/Down issue that I raised in this thread but I suspect I am going to need HIP to solve another issue (Using the REW key to do a backspace when submitting search strings in SearchLite).
As we are already discussing HIP here I thought I would post an update.

I tried HIP again this weekend without success. I have submitted a post on the HIP forum to see if anyone else has been successful with "HIP, Windows 7 and the Hauppauge MCE Remote".
I have tried the following in Windows 7 but have not been able to get HIP working
- the t0xin modification.
- the Alternate MCE dll
- removing CodeSetNum 0 - 3 from HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\hidIr\Remotes\745a17a0-74d3-11d0-b6fe-00a0c90f57da.

If anyone has got HIP working in Windows 7 with a Hauppauge MCE remote then please let me know.
