Hauppauge 1250 Black Screen

Maybe you know this much, though... when you install HIP it asks which components to install with it. I wasn't sure which, so I did all of them. Do you know which of the components would be the one that works with Hauppauge?

Sorry no, I'v never seen a Haupp. remote in real life :p, and I don't know for sure that HIP can handle it, but I would be very surprised if it can't. Try the dvbowners forum, I'm sure someone must have tried it before.

BTW, I remember that there is a thread somewhere in this forum about getting the Haupp.remote to work properly with npvr.

I've been able to use the instructions on this page to get the Hauppauge remote working.

Bluetick, that link you provided was for MCE remote, they instructions translate to the Hauppauge remote that is connected directly to the card (not usb)?
