Where exactly is the link to the new R2 .zip file? I can't find it anywhere. Thank you.

Oh, I guess you have to click on the paper-clip in the NPVR Support page - not very obvious.

The latest zip file is always available in the thread's first post, not the "announcement" reply. Wink

Many thanks for the time and trouble you take to bundle these up.

as some people are having trouble after installing the R2 update, I've attached the R1 update here.

It appears that on my system that the R1 patches have some of the same problems as R2, namely, the skip keys don't work (they both take you back to the start), and I occasionally get the "Encrypted content" message (or whatever it is that says "Encrypted") for no good reason (which gives me a blank, black screen that does not go away without changing channels). This is during LiveTV. So I went back to the pre-R1 version, which has yet to fail.

I went back to the pre-R1 files and started on channel 5 of LiveTV, then I did 5 quick '+' hits to get to channel 10 and the skip function would not work - it always went back to the beginning. After my show was over I went back a channel, then back to channel 10, and the skip function now works. So apparently it did not like 5 quick '+' hits.

I've posted a few additional patches released since 'R2'.

But apparently nothing since 08 - 10 Oct 2011, which still had problems with the skip function, etc.

Or else I don't know where to find them. Clicking on the paperclip at http://forums.gbpvr.com/forumdisplay.php...VR-Support simply gives me the 08 - 10 Oct 2011 files, which I already have from back then.

johnsonx42 listed the updates (which I expect will form R3 later on) and there is nothing about skipping. If you hope for sub to try and solve your problems you should create your own thread with logs etc.

I can't find the updates. I don't know why they are not put in a more obvious place.

Sub's patches aren't like Microsoft's you should only apply them when you are having a problem. Look at patches 41 and up, read the description and if it applies follow the hyperlink to the patch. That's pretty obvious.
