No I didn't know about that. Thanks for the tip.

Nevertheless, by pressing ctrl-left say once or twice, I'd expect it to go back by 1 or 2 minutes give or take a few seconds. quite often it just jumps by a 2 or 3 seconds.

BTW, using the mouse on the scroll bar to jump anywhere is perfect, responsive and very accurate - breath of fresh air really. I just don't like to use the mouse on the sofa.

Dvb subtitles is never usable, sorry. Here, "non english" country it is quite important thing. E.g. my english is not good enough to follow fast lines, specially at late evening and bit tired.
If subtitles showing totally wrong time, the situation is worst, than no text at all. And, if there is no new text coming, last text stay forever.

Rock solid? No. Too many "failed" recordings nowadays. With Gb-pvr only occasionally, now weekly several. I think, Sub can fix those, then it's allmost perfect.

For me, dvb subtitles is perfect during live tv. Press skip forward/back then the subtitle timing goes out the window. The same for recordings. Would the logs help with debugging this issue?

If this was being caused by the application, I'm pretty sure we'd be seeing lot of reports of it, and we're not. What device are you using?
