now i just have to uninstall nextpvr and reinstall it, configure one tuner fine then duplicate all the channels to the other tuners once its configured.

Often with a wiki page it just takes someone to outline basics etc.

It does not have to be that good, complete, or anything, just something other than a blank page inspires others!

I'm very selfish anyway, I can't follow all these forum threads sometimes, I am convinced that MDAPI will actually help me out, then if I understood it I could contribute to the wiki too :eek:

Yeah I'll do a guide. Not sure where to host it. I've gotten nextpvr and fortherecord working. Nextpvr works perfect, 4tr uses a lot of CPU power(all of one core)

Not sure what I'll use yet. Need to have clients running off the setup and was hoping xbmc pvr on a few atv2s cos they are cheap and play most things. But nextpvr is the best pvr. Just not the better media centre. Nextpvr backend with xbmc frontend might be an option

Atv2 don't play freeview hd. I think it's the 1080i as 720p is fine.

oh i thought it could handle most things now days, just output at 720p. well there goes that plan. ok, what are the popcorn hours like? what models work well? do they playback everything? are there netflix plugins for them? do they run the entire nextpvr interface (ie plugins aswell?))

im wanting lots of thin clients really that are cheap, plays everything, nice interface and hopefully netflix support.

Probably worth a new thread. The popcorns are still the best at replicating the npvr interface (a100/110 only). Yes plugins are rendered, not sure abut the nexflix plugin that is (was?) written.

Or a low power pc with zbmc on it?
