Yes, video overlay plugins still exist, and they can monitor all keypresses, even when not active, and can do stuff like change channels. It'd probably still trigger the built-in logic, but I'm sure I can do something to allow you disable that.

I have had some plans to include channel groups (you'll see "all channels" as the only current option when you right click and select 'Channels' from the context menu).

I think NPVR is EXTREMELY reliable. I can't recall the last time it missed a recording or gave me a problem. But then again, if I ever have a problem, it's solved so fast, I forget.

Rather than channel groups I'd like to see genre implemented first (yes I know TV-Listings has it, but it gives me other trouble I don't want).
