I misssed your post. I don't have that exact setting, but it always works normal from the laptop. Under "power management" I can make appropriate settings. If I find something interesting, I will post because I had the problem again today, just before (coincidence?) the next issue.
From post #4 on, I thought I had to focus on the wake through the MVP issue in general, but I think I may have caught a problem for which I started this thread:
For the children I programmed a recording through the MVP (not saying that's the cause, just being complete), that had already started (maybe that's the cause of the issue?). No waketimer was set. I had to keep to pc awake because I didn't want to take the risk the pc would go asleep and the kids would be disappointed that the show failed.
