@ imauser,

believe you me you are the total opposite of an imbecile Big Grin

I took great pleasure in reading this thread. I was a total idiot when I started on this forum and you are not. It is always a pleasure to see new users who are courteous and polite but just need to know how stuff works. Glad you have it sorted and I echo pcostanza's sentiment.

sub is brilliant both with his proggie and in his support, and this is really the friendliest techy forum on the whole web Wink

[Which reminds me of a note I have for McBainUK, that I really should put on the wiki threads..... Ages ago I looked at a youtube plugin for pmwiki that may be better at showing stuff than static screenshots. McBainUK I will try to remeber to put that on wiki thread too. Just a bit busy @ moment!]

cheers

steeb

It's the most friendly, helpful forum you'll find anywhere.
this is really the friendliest techy forum on the whole web
Is it bollox.what is this, a freakin love in?

Come on you guys, we're getting far too soft around here for our own good. People need to man up and call out noob!! once in a while (or "epic fail" I believe in the current youth parlance).
They do it on all the other forums, it's very popular. I think we should give it a go. What d'a think?

my "senior moment" last week was when I asked UJB,
Would it be possible to have a "Live TV" tab with links to the various channels with a URL formatted to launch VLC so the user can watch live TV via NEWA?

To which he politely replied:-
This is already there for the CSS based guide (guide2.aspx)....couple of releases ago....
On the guide....in the channel column ....there is a View Live link that opens up a pop-up that uses the VLC plugin

I'll get my coat...

Big Grin Put your coat on, then take it off! There is work to be done Wink

I cannnot count how many senior moments I have had over the last 6 months. I did not realise how many hairs I had left to lose Smile

BTW gEd how are you? Truly well I trust.

Are you saying that we should not moderate to the masses?

Surely that is what sub's NextPVR does? Well OK not masses but v user friendly!
