When I stop the viewing of a recording, the TV Recordings screen from before the viewing flashes on screen followed by a flash of black screen followed by a normal display of the TV Recordings screen that I expected. For example ...

Whats New list on screen.
Press Play on remote and playback starts.
Press Stop on remote and playback stops.
Whats New list flashes on screen.
Screen flashes black.
Whats New list is displayed normally.

or

Whats New list on screen.
Press OK on remote to display details popup for a show.
Use arrow keys on remote to go to Play button and press OK and playback starts.
Press Stop on remote and playback stops.
Details popup for the show flashes on screen.
Screen flashes black.
Whats New list is displayed normally.

sorry, I guess I can't help you with that one. To me it seems that it might be related to your video card, tv or video playback codecs, but I'm not sure.

do you have a configuration setting that opens the tv recordings plugin automatically when starting npvr? If yes, can you please try to disable that setting and see if then works as expected? Additionally, can you please check if it works when you enable the recordings panel?

Yes I did have a setting to open the tv recordings plugin automatically when starting npvr which I've removed for now [thought this didn't cure the issue]
I've checked re Recordings Panel and I've proven that the problem occurs if the panel is disabled.

thanks for the feedback. Regarding the genre colors, since they are now supported out of the box, they are taken from the default npvr genre color definitions and no longer from the definitions in the tv listings plugin.

Ah, that explains why the colors matched so well.

Only other thing I have noticed is when a show has stars, they overlap with the show description on my display.

Now I have the Recordings Panel enabled I note that "Recording Soon" schedules are often at an earlier time than "Next Recording".

okay, thanks for the feedback. I've fixed that for the next release so that it works independently of the panel.

when you see that again, can you please post your logfiles? What timezone is your npvr system using?

As an avid TVListing user I am trying out your 3.6 Beta. Doing so, I have noticed that the TVListings nor TVRecordings does not "refresh" on the NMT.

For example:
-The TV Guide does not move with the current time if not watching TV, I have to manually move to the right to catch up.
-When a recording has started recording cannot be played and does not show as Pending in TVRecordings. I have to go to the nPVR TVGuide in order to get the option to play the ongoing recording.

The problem is only on the NMT, it works just fine on the Computer.

Let me know which logs you need.

Hi,

from your description, it seems that you have the same problem as Petrovski has, so you most likely have the recordings panel deactivated for the mvp which leads to the recording schedule not being updated automatically. I've already fixed that for the next release.
