Yes. Odd. That should definitely have worked.

Unfortunately I dont have a log file for the tray, so it's hard to guess what it was doing.

Yes, but the code looks like it shouldn't be if <ClientMode> is set to 'true'. I might have to add a log file.

This patch works properly for me. My client shuts down cleanly with the server recording and <BlockShutdownWhileRecording> set to true.

Still not working here and the only update I have on the client is NTray from the sixth.

mine is not working again. just now I tried to shutdown my desktop, and NTray blocked shutdown again as the server is recording. Since my last report I have installed the latest versions of NextPVR.exe and NShared.dll on both client and server, but I have no idea if that has anything to do with it. Sorry sub, no good deed goes unpunished: you tried to add a simple little feature, and now you have a debugging headache.

edit: while I was typing that, the server finished recording, but NTray still won't let me shutdown. I encountered that once before during the pre-release testing too. The odd thing is that I am 99.9% sure that when I shutdown last night the server was recording, and it shutdown with no problem (and that was after I'd put in those other updates).
