No Sound...Audio decoders don't seem to help.

Alright, so I have AC3Filter installed and the corresponding decoder selected for the AC3 audio decoder. I've also just applied the registry change you've outlined above.

I'm still not getting any audio with my video feed. This is very frustrating.

there's an error message in the log saying it failed to locate the AC3Filter. try uninstalling and re-installing it.

also, disable the audio decoders you're not using. you need only mpeg-1 layer-2 audio and AC3 audio.

Also make sure that you are installing the 32 bit versions of the decoders. Even if you are running Windows x64, NextPVR is a 32 bit application and can only use 32 bit decoders.

Post a log attempting TV playback and then playing a recording. Since you said recordings play fine, it would be good to compare.

Did you try to record small sample and play it outside nPVR (in graphstudio for example)?

I've uninstalled AC3Filter and reinstalled, made sure to only install the 32 bit versions, and disabled all other decoders. I should also specify that recordings are playing with sound in OUTSIDE applications (VLC), but not in nextpvr.

I've also attached the log after trying to reapply the decoders, watching live tv, and attempting to watch a recording.

VLC has its own built in codecs, so it might not be using your windows codecs to playback the files. Try a player which doesn't have built in codecs. Anyway, you might want to install HD pack 2.7 and try out other audio codec.

The logs look good. How and to what is your PC connected? If it's direct to the TV, you may need to make sure that ACFilter is not set to bitstream the audio and is instead decoding it first.
