Unfortuantely your log doesn't show the beginning of the EPG update, where it requests the data from Schedules Direct. Instead the logs is overflowing with way too verbose logging around the processing the happens after that.

Do you have <ExtendedLogging>true</ExtendedLogging> in your config.xml?

Isn't that just the normal dump of the recently deleted files table that johnsonx42 and I have requested that you remove in a future update?

Yes, I have made that change for the next release.

I did find a couple of noisey messages were already set to only be logged when ExtendedLogging was set. Not sure if that's the case here though.

No, leave it set to false.

You might need to install the attached patch, so that you get less logging at the next EPG update, then post the logs again tomorrow.

That's strange, it was working for a couple of months. Since it's the XML data from SchedulesDirect there is no point in trying mc2xml, right?

Is there any invalid XML data in the manual updates as well?

I'm not saying that's what's happening for you every time, I'm just saying the last attempt failed for that reason.

Sub, I replaced the attached file last night.

I set an update for 10 est.

Here is the logs.

It looks like your Schedule Direct listings processed without any errors. Are you they not there?

@ rtangwai: Do you live in the Eastern time zone like everyone else who reports this problem?

Sounds like no one has experienced any problems with manual updates, but I suspect that manual updates might also fail if attempted at precisely 2AM Eastern (1AM Central, 12AM Mountain, 11PM Pacific).

SchedulesDirect only serves North America. The most heavily populated time zone in North America is Eastern, and NPVR'S default setting for EPG Update Hour is 2AM (under Settings/Misc2). Therefore, 2AM Eastern is a busy time for the SchedulesDirect server.

If changing EPG Update Hour doesn't solve this problem, SchedulesDirect.org appears to have a forum.
