ir server and next pvr

i have made the changes required from my log files but Next PVR is still not changing channels via IR Server Suite.
so i looked into my log files and found this
Running blaster: C:\Program Files (x86)\IR Server Suite\IRBlast.exe 217

although it did not change the channel it got me thinking so i went to the ir server suite folder and opened a command prompt
i typed irblast 217

nothing happened
i then typed
irblast -channel 217

and the channel did change to 217

so i thought great problem solved i just have to put that in as an argument {-channel}

well that did not work !!

anyone have any idea's
i would like to create a set by step guide for this when done.

If your blaster needs the argments in the format "-channel 217", then in the arguments in NextPVR you'd need "-channel {channel}". ie, the app is going to replace "{channel}" with the channel number, so you'd end up with "-channel 217"

just did that and it is working now.

if there is the will there is a way.

now when it changes to the channel i requested the screen freezes for a few minutes before the video starts to play again. ?
also when i am watching something and i click record the screen freezes and i cannot continue to watch but it does record. ? strange..
