Unfortunately I'm still getting this with version 2.27. It only happens on my Openelec box, W7 clients are fine.

I think I see what is happening. Do you know how to use nano or vi on you box via ssh if I gave you instructions to test?

Ok great edit your file

/storage/.xbmc/addons/script.xbmc.x-newa/resources/src/XNEWAGlobals.py

and change

ACTION_REMOTE_INFO = 11 # info on remote

to

ACTION_REMOTE_INFO = 195 # info on remote

That has fixed it, thanks, working as expected now.

Thanks for all your work on this, X-Newa is really useful to have.

If I can make a feature request - it would be great if pressing the play button would start playback of a recording or highlighted program in the EPG.

Play was supposed to work from the EPG, but I didn't update it when I made some other changes. Fixed in 2.2.8 as is the remote problem.
