Yeah, I'd have to agree with Martin - check the 12.3 build to see if it's working there.

It may just be something with the timing of these alternative builds you're using.

12.3, the same as well, bugger.

Wonder if it cold be that I have tried to reinstalled NextPVR a few times? In Settings I have two sets of each Genre and the first one wont change anything. For ex. if I change the "first" "news" genres colour and click OK the colour wont stick, but if I change the second one further down on the list it will change both and stick.

Can you restart the recording service, then start XBMC, letting it load the channel listings, then zip and post the web.log? The log you posted didn't show this information. I want to see the listings being passed to XBMC so I can confirm they contain the correct genre info.

It wont be to-do with this. XBMC doesn't know use the genre colouring set up in NextPVR. It just uses the genre info in the listings, and it's own colouring rules.

Based on the http headers I only see XBMC/13.0-ALPHA10 Git:20131127-5ccbfb9 on one box and and older Frodo XBMC/12.2 Git:20130502-32b1a5e on another Android box, no 12.3

Hi Martin,

Yes I have XBMC/13.0-ALPHA10 Git:20131127-5ccbfb9 on two computers for the moment and I have not bothered to much about the Android as I want to have everything working on the main Media Centre, this above is the latest build for fast channel switching. On the main computer I have the above XBMC version at all time to keep my wife and kids happy (it works except the genre colouring) and on my computer I have tried the most versions, installed/uninstalled them several times as did with the 12.3 version, should I have kept that one when I was copying the web.log?

Thanks,
J

If you want to confirm colouring try 12.3

Compress and upload the output from this to make sure genres are being sent http://127.0.0.1:8866/service?method=cha...sid=foobar in the right format

It's possible that 1.9.6 will be in the nightlies after tonight. It's been stuck with build system problems since sub's update was added https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/3806

Edit: Nope. The best test on the windows installer is to look for the new pvr.wmc addon, if it's not there is not current.

Hi,

Still wont work in 12.3 but it looks like the Genres work as it should (see attached files). What do I have to delete to do a "clean" install of NextPVR, when I have done it before it is old files that is picked up when I install it again. I have poked around a bit and tried different suggestions in the forum, one was your (Martins) file with genre colouring, could it be that?

Thanks again for your efforts, appreciate it,

Regards,

Jonas

I compiled XBMC with the embedded version of the NextPVR Addon that should be included in an upcoming Gotham build and genres do work as expected.
