Reddwarf,

I think you're onto something.

I was unaware of the default 90 minute timeslot.
I assumed if I could see the show using "find all", then it would get recorded.
The examples I have been trying are well over 90 minutes from the original time; sometimes days away.

I didn't see anything in settings about the timeslot, but I did find it in Config.

What's the downside to setting this much larger?
Thanx!

Not sure if there is a downside, depends of your epg. If it marks all episodes as FirstRun, you risk (in worst case) getting old episodes recorded.

To be clear, this timeslot window only applies if you used a Timeslot recording type (i.e. "Daily, this timeslot", "Weekly, this timeslot", "M-F, this timeslot", "Weekends, this timeslot"). If you used the more common "All Episodes" recurring types, then the timeslot won't have anything to do with it.

johnsonx42,

Thanx for the clarification.
Most all my recurring recordings use "Record Season (NEW episodes on this channel)".

That said, what should I expect to happen?
Will NPVR search thru the entire EPG table and schedule the show (at a later date) if it finds it there?

Probably not. If it finds the same show at a later date, it probably won't be marked as NEW in your EPG data so it won't fit the recurring recording request. You shouldn't use the "NEW episodes" recording type if there's any chance of a conflict, or make sure that recurring recording is higher priority than any others that might conflict. Yes, you can now change recurring recording priority in 3.2.9; just highlight the desired recurring recording, and press the skip fwd/back buttons (Ctrl-leftarrow, ctrl-rightarrow).

OK, thanx for your help.

I can't really do any further testing at the moment; 3.2.9 won't run for me.

I'm hoping Sub will figure out what my problem is.

Why, what's wrong with 3.2.9? Is not clear from the discussion above.

I was referring to my earlier post, "Live TV Error with 3.2.9".

(I don't know how to attach a link)
