The quality=0 suggests that there is no signal from the antenna ... Are you splitting the antenna cable? Is the signal weak because the antenna is split?

You could test using DVBguide to produce an xmltv file to see if DVBguide finds all of the EPG data that you expect ... http://www.dvbguide.com/

This does not nessesarily mean that the signal is bad, different tuners report signal strength/quality in different ways, and the only sw that is guaranteed to interpret it correctly is the tuners native software.

I think NextPVR tunes to each MUX in turn and compiles the EPG by combining the data. As has been said in the UK the same EPG data is transmitted by each MUX although the data for channels resident on that mux is transmitted much faster. I use EPGcollector to produce an XML EPG file which NextPVR can import and have not had EPG problems since I started using it. I set EPGcollector to only read from only one MUX but by default I think it will download from all MUX for the transmitter specified. It has a lot of setup options!

I'v found that the best way of updating the epg is to find the frequency that contains the full epg, run DVBGuide on it and use that xmltv file to update npvr. Faster and more relyable.

What version of DVBGuide? You still might need to use this utility http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post448671 to clean up the xml

I have problems auto updating the EPG. I posted this problem but so far did not find a solution. Can you please tell me exactly how you automatically load/update you xml guide data into NEXTPVR? what settings do you have in your config file? I ticked the box on the MISC tab next to the update time but don't have any autoupdateEPG.bat script since the xml file is created with a scheduled task.

I would appreciate you help, thanks in advance!

In Settings->Channels, have you set the epg source to xml?
