Hi Martin

I have a log, but I am not sure if it is taken correctly.

The reasons I say this are
(a) Because I simply could not seem to start putty from the native PCH screen. It just jumps out of putty, or if I select leave the window open says inactive. I used telnet port 23, SSH says connection refused. So I issued commands from the NVPVR screen which comes up quite happily.
(b) My dir is /etc/mvpmc/mvpmcx2 (it is on a USB Stick, always has been).
© Having gone in and issued that it gives a whole lot of 1980's looking text, the TV screen goes black, and NVPVR never appears, nor does the PCH menu. i.e. nada.

There are a couple of system is going down messages ... very comforting.

I hope the attached might help ?

k.

I issued it again after the first run, without changing anything - DRAM error perhaps?

It looks your tv is off and you weren't at the nmt main menu.

Code:

Hmmm. The TV is definitely on. I didn't turn it off, and although it is sometimes a bit sticky to turn on (Panasonic Viera), it has never turned off by itself.

Regarding NMT main menu, I can't run telnet while at that menu, it simply bails out of Putty.
Or did you mean it doesn't go back there?

by NMT Main menu, can you pelase describe which screen, I am on the Media Source screen when it bails.

Does this help at all btw?

Reboot the nmt, start mvpmcx2 to get telnet going and power key back to the nmt menu

Perhaps your hdmi cable is causing problems?

For the syntax check this message from the web server is new to me

The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.

Very odd.
