This seems to be a W10 glitch?
I noticed in Windows 10 that when I set a task to trigger the start of NPVR upon bootup, the task bar is always present, thus requiring a refocusing with a pointing device. The remote will not work with NPVR until NPVR is focused and the task bar minimized. This happens every time. This does not happen in Windows 7.
So it seems that in Windows 10, starting in 'full screen" mode is not quite full screen in this situation for W10.
