Is the widget libary on the wiki in use / still current? I'm working on a similar thing.

Decided to do this because while working on a Files plugin I was copy and pasting code to make two 'file panes'. Was silly because I had to change variable names and introcuded loads of bugs with mixtures.

McBainUK, I don't know if the original author is still active with us or not, but I know he put the code on Sourceforge, so that others could work on it. You might want to email Jason through the forums, and see what the status is, or contact him on the source forge site.

A simple X10 plugin would work. There is currently a link to activatie events in Homeseer but you'd need all that hardware to use it. Something simple would work nicely.

For the first version of the X10 plugin, I'm basically just implementing an interface similar to the remote that comes with the X10 firecracker. If you're not familiar with this remote checkout this link http://www.x10.com/products/x10_hr12a.htm

Very familiar with it, i use a modified one of those as a guest MVP remote, so they don't have access to too many functions. Smile

What trigger method are you planning to use to get the signal from the the computer to the RF interface?

I have had aspirations of resuming work on the widget library, but time is a commodity that I just don't have at the moment (nor in the near future). I have been able to occasionally lurk here in the forums, and still use GBPVR at home, so I would be interested in seeing the project resurrected.

As KingArgyle said, the project is hosted in SourceForge for the purpose of allowing other community members to work on it. So far, only Jorm had expressed interest, and that was at the very beginning of the project.

If someone want to take the reins, or if people just want CVS access to the project, then send me your SourceForge user ID.
