I have installed direct x but no change. What does run nextpvr.exe -no3d mean?

Well it was low end 7 years ago so not new but should be able to play mpeg2 SD you have in your logs. Try various renderers, working down. Still it should support D3D, what did dxdiag say? Also maybe upload the logs to see if Direct3d is available now.

It is a Windows program, in the start menu just start typing dxdi...

I was really just interested in the resolution and if Direct3d Acceleration is shown is available on the display tab to see if that matches NextPVR

Sort of it shows that yours is a Direct3D device that NextPVR isn't detecting but missing the resolution which shows when you scroll the top left pane. NextPVR shows 1280x1024. I don't need the screen shot, typing it is fine.

Did VMR9 help things?
