Better but not perfect - and this is a bit frustrating - If NPVR freezes at a resume point, it always freezes at the same point - until I set the demux regkey when it will resume from that point.

I'm guessing that demux text won't be much use. and keeping that regkey active produces somewhat large text files.

Finally found the time to do it when a recording won't resume, and damn, it worked as soon as I set LogDemux to 1. Here's the fines anyway, don't know if it is of any use now...

Interesting! As soon as I set LogDemux to zero Nextpvr won't resume... Fortunately it is early in the recording so I can cut a chunk and upload if you need the recording Sub Smile

It wont store a resume position if you're less than 15 seconds into a recording.

The first position was several minutes, the second was just a few seconds from the first. Did the log tell you anything?

Unfortunately nothing obvious.

Maybe try supplying a short recording for me to try resuming.

Yeah, I can cut a 300Mb chunk and upload for you, should cover the failed resume point.

I had hoped 4.1 had resolved this issue, but I have just been informed by the "Custodian of the Remote" that it failed to resume, freezing NPVR requiring double mouse click to get NPVR to crash out.
Unfortunately all evidence was deleted.

I'm unable to upload large files, possibly because I'm on mobile network and my isp won't allow me to upload large amounts of data. But I'v made some progress, I noticed that most freezes on resume occur on SD quality recordings, so when I changed decoder from LAV to Microsoft for MPEG2 the problem is mostly gone.

Can someone else upload a sample to Sub since I'm unable to di it?
