This patch should fix the issue.

It seems to have always been this way, so as johnsonx42 said, it can't be something people commonly do. Very few people use manual recordings, and it must be even less that try to set it for a future date.

I use manual recording quite often(as one of the few) but never in the future far enough to cause a problem. But I may. I hope the patch works. Please let us know.
