EPG update crashing the program?

Since sub fixed the DVB EPG in 4.2.4 I only recall one set of your logs where you said Kodi crashed and those didn't show a crash or NextPVR misbehaving. There were several posts on in progress recordings but that is not a new issue. You need to send logs showing the problem if you expect any resolution just posting comments is a waste of both of our time.

I have posted umpteen logs but you say they do not show a crash or freeze. Short of videoing my setup until it happens and posting the video, I don't know what else I can do, sorry. It sounds like you think I am making this up but, honest, I am not. And I am trying all sorts to fix it, as noted above and in other threads.
Would it help if I left logging on for 24 hours and posted the output? I don't see how it could if the logs are not showing the issue but I'm willing to do it. My updates today included a post of the crash.mdmp that sub asked for. I didn't see the point of providing the NPVR logs again because he's already seen them.

These are the threads after 4.24 I looked at, yes you posted logs about different issues. I am trying to separate the issue with the EPG update which could be unrelated.

What I suggest is installing 3.3.14 from Jenkins duplicate the problem https://jenkins.kodi.tv/blue/organizatio...artifacts/ with debug logging plus PVR and EPG component logging enabled. If you continue to get freezes after live tv I can give a special dll with you with even more logging Martin

There appears to be something up with the UK DVB-EPG this last week or so - Monday 1st April the 05:15 update only managed to get about 40% of the channels. Trying a manual update caused NPVR to crash, an empty and update caused a crash and no epg results at all. Setting an Auto update in the evening only found 10% of the channels, but the Tuesday 2nd April 05:15 update found all but 2 channels epg results.
I am wondering if the clocks going forward last weekend or preparations for our "700mhz clearance event" tomorrow on Mendip broke something at the supply end. Unfortunately due to the TV Control Person not releasing the HTPC for testing, and a heavy work load this week, I have been unable to get logs or do more testing. (SFC found no problems) If it continues to crash next week I should be able to investigate further and get logs etc.

Thanks but install 3.3.14 where? How? Just copy/paste it to whatever the relevant folder may be?

Download the zip file and install from zip. Your logs showed your using x64 so download the x86_64 version for Windows.

Yes, I had already worked out which version to download but there is no installer that I can see in the unzipped file.

No in Kodi you go to addons and use the install from zip option.

OK, 3,3.14 installed from zip. Kodi EPG currently shows programmes for 4 April on ITV (channel 3) from 1930 to 2200 but the NPVR server's EPG shows "(no show details)". Do you want me to do a manual update of the server EPG and post the logs for both Kodi and NPVR?
