I can confirm that teletext doesnt work on the TV Walker. The drivers VBI does not work. I've tried to ask LiveView about this in the past, but didnt get any conclusive answer. Hopefully new drivers will be released in the future that address this problem.

Sub, thank you for confirming the non-working of teletext with the Walker on GB-PVR.

It is very sad that, after a year of owning a device, I have to hopefully wait for the drivers to support what was promissed at the time of the purchase.

Needless to say, that this is the last product from this company that I bought.

I have no FUNC key on my pvr-350 remote and no keyboard...
Any suggestions?

Ok, so there have been posts of people having their hardware not supporting TTX, I want to know who has hardware that does support it. Now I'm originally from the US, and just moved to Europe, so I'm not too clear on what to look for in relation to TTX seeing as how it is not used in the US. But It woud be appreciated if you could give me an idea if the WinTV 500 supports TTX. Luckily I'm in a position where I have not yet purchased the parts or computer to do all this and to install gbpvr on, so I am in a position o get your opinions an build a machine just for this that will have everything I think we will need, so any input would be appreciated, and I hope this isn't considered a topic hijacking.
but if this is a hijacking, then:

Pulled out the jammy - aimed it at the sky
He yelled, "Stick 'em up!" - and let two fly
Hands went up and people hit the floor
He wasted two kids that ran for the door
"I'm Mike D. and I get respect
Your cash and your jewelry is what I expect"

Yes, the WinTV PVR500 supports teletext. All the Hauppauge cards do.
