Ok further, sorry about this i'm not sure why its not just working like normal.

Logs and WebLogs attached.

I now can choose many more stations but some never seem to connect.
I can have the HDHR viewer and NPVR open and some channels work in both some only HDHR... any that work in NPVR only work for a very short time and take a very long time to load ( 30 seconds Plus)

I looked at the logs myself and there was nothing that jumped out at me as to why the trans coder should have exited for example or why the stall half way through... my PC is an 8core i7 and its all on a wired lan?

I also get these issues with the desktop viewer

I would start with a fresh set of logs, since these are two versions old. I also notice you are using the Android client which shouldn't need transcoding if you enable Direct Play.

Hi mvallevand, probably a good idea.

The first log (0907) is me trying to play through the web veiwer in chrome BBC1, it gives me a error transcoder exited and in the log is says in red "writer cant remove .map file. the file is in use by another process"

The 0912 logs are fomr trying to access from my android phone both with direct play ( which i have never got to work) and by without direct play and this shows the same issue.

The system was working Ok last night, i left the system on playing tv over night jsut as a test and came back to it stalled this morning. i had to reboot NPVR to get up and running again but that obviously doesen't seem right.

I also get a null exception quite frequently, sometimes prevents anything form working sometimes it just pops up and everything still works. 0921 logs attached for that.

I appreciate any help on this! I had this all running great a year or so ago now i'm getting a lot of grief from the family haha

How is playback with the HDHR app? Also change the BDA settings for the HDHR to Media Portal.

There is too much captured ffmpeg spam in the logs fro me to look at the Android issue.

I checked this logs, and know why this specific null exception error was happening. This error isn't something you need to worry about, and I've fixed for the next release.

This happens when you're trying to start live tv in the web app, and the web app is continuously polling to check the status waiting for live tv starting, then you've stop and restarted nextpvr, but the web app is still there trying to query the status of that live tv startup. It's basically saying "give me the status for session xxxxxx", and the web server doesn't know about session xxxxxx, and this causes this null exception to be logged. In itself, it's not causing any problem.
