Playback freezes after 10 seconds or so. The message appears when I close the settings dialog. My Windows was fresh installed couple of days ago. I have installed only NextPRV v4/v5 and PotPlayer (without included OpenCodec).

It is still a case of something taking too long.

You pretty much don't need the NextPVR Settings screen after setting your decoders though, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

2020-01-19 22:28:32.302 [DEBUG][4] No BDA capture filter for this device
Some BDA devices devices have a tuner filter + a capture filter. Some have just a tuner filter (no capture filter). This is all that is being reported here.
There are been several posts on this forum and I don't think anybody has had much luck so far and the users that do have trouble keeping the driver installed

It sounds like it's working for him now that he has changed his MPEG1 decoder.

I don't know anything about this specific Realtek 2832U device though, and don't really remember the posts about it. It might be problematic later or something

@mvallevand, 2009 driver that is automatically installed by Windows 10 is not working, you are correct. But the dongle is working with newer drivers 2012 or 2015. The problem with them is that Windows is reverting automatically to the 2009 version. There is a workaround for this that I was using before. Now I've installed new copy of Windows 10 1909 and when I install the driver it is not reverting back, so it is working properly.
And again, I have no issues with NextPRV v4.

I can share the workaround how to keep the driver from reverting, if you are interested.
It was posted in this forum, but it looks like the thread is not available anymore.

Unless its changed very recently the Microsoft drivers Windows installs for the Realtek 2832U dont work assuming its a device using an 820T tuner not an older model with E4000 tuner. I just checked my NextPVR V5 test server and I am using Realtek provided driver 64.1.801.2012 from 2012 which seems to be the latest from Realtek.
NextPVR Server - HP N54L Microserver, Windows 10 - Storage 2 X 3TB - Tuners DVBSky S952 Twin DVB-S/S2 PCIe, Hauppauge Twin DVB-T2 USB, Telestar Digibit R1 Sat>IP Server.
Clients:- 2 X RPi3, 1 X RPi4 and Acer RL80 Celeron Nettop all running NextPVR New Client on LibreElec.

If that is the issue perhaps the OP has one with an E4000 tuner, you can still get them.

My dongle came with driver version 64.1.730.2015 on a CD. Driver date is 30.7.2015, so seems newer compared to the one from 2012, but who knows. Smile
