Is this a windows popup, with Details button? If so, can you please copy the text from the details, and post it here?

Initial thoughts looking at your logs are to maybe try switching to the LAV decoders for AC3, instead of the old Hauppauge one.

Changed to LAV Decorders as suggested but exception message still occured.  Here's the message content:

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

UnfortunateyI'm not seeing an obvious cause.

I'd briefly try the video decoder set to the LAV to see if it makes a difference. If that doesn't help, see if setting the video renderer to VMR makes any difference.

If neither of those help, maybe try NextPVR v5 instead. I don't want to spend too long fault finding something on v4. On v5 I can give you an updated executable with more logging etc.

I already set video decode to the LAV devoder.

Not sure which VMR to use (multiple VMRs in.list).  Trying VMR7.  Advice on this?

Would rsther stick with Next PVR 4 as I'm already uncertain about using that version, much less using a newer beta version 5 that looks to be much different than 4.

Yep, that's fine - but if something is broken, I'm not going to provide a new NextPVR v4 to fix it.
