Thanks sub. Luckly the most frequently used buttons work with the USB-UIRT setting except "Go Back". Anyway I would say that GB-PVR is the best PVR I have tried.

Unfortunately you cant switch while video is playing (I'll revisit that one day...), but from the other screens you can press alt-enter to switch.

I noticed someone mentioned bitrate being stuck on the highest setting with their 550 Pro... I'm having the same problem with the bitrate being stuck, but mine's stuck on medium Is there anything I could do until the next release to force it to the highest setting?

Also, does the bitrate setting affect LiveTV quality at all?

When you say "stuck on medium". You trying to change the default in the config app are you? When you edit the capture source setting, this will always show the medium setting. This is normal. This is not where you select which quality profile is the default. Its just a mechanism for editing each of the profiles. You set the quality when you schedule a recording. If you do a "quick record" the "medium" profile is always used.

That said, with this current 550 Pro bug, it doesnt matter which profile you record with, it'll just use the default bitrate settings. This is fixed in the next release.

Yes, if you're in timeshift mode or using encoder-pass through deinterlacing.

I've actually got a ATI 550 Pro, but appreciate the offer. What isn't working for you? Its not clear from these posts.

Hi sub I have the video/audio out of sync problem as well. Its getting worse and worse if I change the channels rapidly.
