That is what I meant earlier with direct play client. NextPVR.exe is also going to work, not just Kodi.

Just to say, I am deaf and have NextPVR running on an always on PC in conjunction with HDHomerun tuners.
I too would very much appreciate subtitles to work when viewing on a browser as I have to do when my main Home Theatre PC is being used by other family members and I am relegated to a backroom to watch on my windows PC or Apple iPad or Android Tablet.

Seriously fellas, Working DVB subtitles on your web client would be a VERY big deal to me.
