Cannot watch a Channel from an HdPvr Capture Source if the channel is recording

I have tried both Timeshift and Realtime with the same results.  Agree that you can timeshift the recording up to near real time.  I think you will find that if you leave the channel playing, it will stop when the recording stops - which will happen once the 'Post-Padding' period has expired.

No, I was wrong. When the recording finished, the playing HDPVR channel just froze.
I then had to stop playback, and select the channel again to resume viewing.

Hopefully Sub can work out what is occurring and fix it,  as it would be nice to have it work like other tuner types.

I just tried the software I used to use before Kodi, which was a fork of Kodi called 'Mr MC'
It does exactly the same thing, and will not let you drop in on a recording channel thru the HDPVR device.

I can not recall if NextPVR 4.x did the same thing or not.

I just tried a test here and I can duplicate this scenario too, when recording is enabled multi-rec isn't possible.

I had 5 live streams playing the same channel so there is some multi-rec working.

I also tried back to back recordings and that worked too, with a second graph being opened for the second recording.

I am currently running V5.1.4.210802 and can confirm that this issue is fixed. There have been no issues recording from an HdPvr Capture Source and then adding a live Kodi channel
