Unable to change web login password

Now I am back to the same issue. Does the config.xml need to be reloaded somehow between changes?

I was able to change the password for admin. Then, I went back to the access page to change the user and password, and I get the same error. I changed everything back to default, and now I cannot change the admin password again????

When you changed back to default did you also edit config.xml to change the username back to admin?

Sub will have to answer on the mechanics of all this, I am simply trying to get things working for you.

Yes, I changed the username back to admin...trying to start from scratch.  It seems that it will only let me change one or the other (i.e. username or password, not both).

I must have screwed something up with cut/paste. I reset again to default, and now it seems to work.

Is this Firefox?

Do you happen to also have Chrome there? If so, can you see if it makes any difference?

Ah right - no worries. Glad you got it sorted.
