My final comments - my path substitution statements were correct but did not
work because I had messed up my entries under the Kodi file manager by
using a host name rather than the IP address. I have updated my install notes.
Using Kodi on Android 11 requires special permission under Android 11 settings
in order to see the files on a USB stick.
I can no longer use both Kodi and the fork/clone WonderBox TV on the same
TV Box. I believe this is because of a new Android 11 feature "scoped storage".
Kodi works fine but if WonderBox TV is installed it uses the same data storage
area as Kodi which leads to random results; I believe this is because the WonderBox TV
APK needs manifest updates of some sort. It is not distributed via the Play Store
otherwise Google might have flagged this problem.
Aren't computers wonderful!
