I don't recall ever merging or unmerging the channels.  Attached is a screen shot of the shannels page in settings.

Let's see if the proper patch solves the problem. Merging could be automatic.

Martin, the NUtiliy.dll patch did the trick.

I returned the two Nshared.dll to the one dated 2025-09-20 and changed the two Nutility.dll from the one dated 2025-09-23 to the one dated 2025-09-28 that is the "proper patch".  Then cleared the epg cache, npvr schedule, restarted and updated the epg from inside npvr.  The number of epg updates is back into the 2k range instead of over 9k.  Now only one instance of an episode shows in npvr search instead of 4 instances.

Attached are the latest logs showing the above.

In future NPVR updates, will I need to change Nutility,dll to the this new one?

Yes, now the logs look like I expected sorry for the confusion.

When sub releases a patch they become part of the future build so when 7.0.4 comes out those NUtility and NShared dlls will be updated anyway.
