I can look at that. How do I add that in? I love the Rename Recoding utility, so I'd like to keep it. But, the fact no one else is having the same problem (seemingly) makes me wonder.

I even tried updating to 09211 to see if that would help, but nothing. The recording was there in ready, comskip ran, and then it was gone.

G issue - It appears that the G problem is only in the Scheduler.

Screen not moving issue - I experienced the same issue in all sections with respect to the screen not always moving when a letter is pushed. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not (the curser disappears to the new program but the screen does not move. Eventually the curse returns to the original program if I hit the key enough times).

Heh...thx, but maybe I should have also asked what it does ;]

I guess I need to know if I add it, what happens? Do I move the rename command to it somehow?

Btw, I am trying to help myself before taking up your time asking these things. I just can't find any documentation. I'll even take a link to that if it's easier.

richard, I will take a look

capone, no biggie. Xexport exports the database for that recording to a .dat file. Same as export in export. So it can be done automatically. Now if renamerecording renames that file as well you will always have all of your info.

I tried adding it, but it didn't seem to do anything. Rename didn't run after. NBD for now. I can always maually rename if I need to.

So the xexport...does this mean if, say, I lost the GB DB, it would still have all the program info? That's pretty cool.

Also, do these go w/ Xrecord? If so, do I care?

They are xrecord. You dont need to work about them. The problem is I gbpvr prints them if I look for them. They are optional.

That is correct if the gbpvr database gets lost the recording data for the shows you have recorded will still be available.

Very cool, and thx about the errors.

I just let a program run w/ xexport in there. Where does it make the dat file? I wanted to make sure it ran ok, but I don't see it. If it's outside the dir, I want to be able to snag it should I need to reformat.

If it didn't run should it be xexport %1 and not xexport "%1"?

It should create the dat file in the same directory as the video. The %1 should be the recording filename. You might want to check the database to make sure it is exact. I did a little testing with it seemed to work if it does not work i will investigate.

The " " should just help it with shows or directories with spaces.

Here's my current bat file. Not sure if the order makes a difference:
comskip %1
rectracker %1 > rectracker.log
rectracker -add %1
ComskipHelper.exe > ComskipHelper.log
xexport "%1"

This is the entry in the recording table, and then the file path\name:
D:\Recorded TV\Cops\Cops_20050712_15301600.mpg
D:\Recorded TV\Cops\Cops_20050712_15301600.mpg

I can't find any dat file.
