I installed the new Xrecord v.44 and when I open Xguide I get "Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object". Any ideas?

delete your skin directory for guide2j and reinstall. I dont replace all of the files in there since some users want to keep some settings.

Lets see if that works. If not pm me and I will send you the debug info.

This version should also contain the bug fix in CDK Scheduler if you had more than one tuner. I.e. it does not default to 1 if a CaptureSource is not specified, it should correctly get the show from any capture source.

Just repackage the RecordingUtils.dll file. You can check out the source from the Sourceforge site, and just recompile, the change is in there.

Just updating the flat blue skin to work with the latest version, and have spotted a couple of errors in xguide -

I have two contiguous programs being recorded with the same tuner on different channels and only one of them is correctly highlighted in the guide. eg I have one program recording from 7.30 to 8 on channel b, which is correctly shown in red, but the following program on channel a recording from 8 to 8.30 is not highlighted at all. Strangely enough the recording bar at the top shows that recording will be happening from 7.30 to 8.30, it's just that the second program is not highlighted (it shows up as red in the standard TV Guide)

The second problem was that I set a program to record from xguide, then went to cancel this recording. I selected the program and chose delete from the recording menu, but got an object reference error and thrown out to the main menu. The gbpvr.exe log is as follows:[INDENT]

fixed the second bug. It occurs if you have a manual recording. I will look at the highlighting bug. When you click on it does it give you the option to cancel or does it think you dont have it scheduled yet.

Jorm

I remember looking at xRecord a little while back,. but refresh my memory, does it have the same recurring properties as sub's recoring scheduler, i.e can you set a recording and keep x number of episodes??

If you use the CDK Scheduler (Scheduler menu option), you'll need use an liked DeleteRecordings or MaxRecordings to control the number of files to keep for a particular re-occuring recording.
