Quote:I have the same problem. GB-PVR pauses in the middle of streaming live TV. It does this exactly when there is a file switchover even though I have specified "Live TV Preview" mode.

Question: why are files being created when "Live TV Preview" mode is selected? Without any pauses or channel changes on my part, files are created automatically on my machine. The Config XML file shows "Live TV Preview" mode to be "true".
There must be something in your configuration stopping live preview mode from being used. You're not using an XCard, PVR350 TV-out or MVP?

If you're in live preview mode, then it doesnt create any video buffer files.

If you're in live preview mode, then it doesnt create any video buffer files.

In the config app I have "Live Preview Mode" set on. The config XML file shows "Live Preview Mode" as "true"

Yet I see files being created. I use a Hauppauge PVR 150 card. I am not using an XCard or PVR350 TV-out.

I don't understand the last part of the question "or MVP"? I am streaming this out to an MVP. Are you saying that files will be created if live TV is streamed to an MVP?

Yes. The MVP is designed to play files. The only way GB-PVR is able to make the MVP show TV, is by tricking it into playing files that are recording the channel you're trying to watch. There is no way around this. In effect, the MVP is always in timeshift mode.
