GBPVR 1.08, exe changer for DTV hard wired through the serial port.
This has worked great for a couple years with Zap2it.
Something to do with chanel mapping? I haven't tried that.
Seems like the channel numbers are not displayed the same as they used to be.
To change the channel numbers to how zap2it used to have them just change the format in options to #2 and it'll match.

I don't think it should change channel changing at all. This may be its own support request for sub to look at. Do you have to remap channels from what the tv guide thinks the channels are (or from what yapi2xml thinks the channels are)?

drdon Wrote:I am a new to this PVR stuff. I need a little help getting this EPG to work. zap2it was pretty straight forward as is this program. Unfortunatley, I cannot get it to work. Attached is my log file. I am only trying to use the card for OTA HD channels (61528 or 61604).
It seems like the lineups you're downloading aren't ready yet. Try again in 24-36 hours and I'll bet any of those you previously tried will work. That is what the schedule is corrupt error is.

classpro Wrote:I can't get the initial file to download. I get an "Error. Schedule File Corrupted or Not Found - All Retries Failed." I tried both last night (multiple times) and this morning. If this is a Yahoo problem, is there some way to find out whether it's temporary or permanent? Any other ideas?
It is a Yahoo problem and is most likely temporary, give it 24-36hrs.

krustythekroom Wrote:Here's one for you. Everything seems to work fine, except I have four channels that are out of order. I'm using Comcast, not the digital feed, in San Jose, CA. Channel 41 comes in as channel 89, channel 29 is channel 90, channel 49 is channel 91, and channel 72 is channel 92.

Also, when I'm watching live TV, I have to type in 89 to watch channel 41, 90 to watch 29, etc.

I've tried emptying the EPG, exporting the recordings, and everything else listed on the Wiki, but nothing worked. Any thoughts?

By the way, thanks for this application. I started running in circles not knowing what to do when I heard Zap2it was going down.
mpking is probably right as is maxxgraphix and he is referring to these steps: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utili...2XML#toc11

I downloaded your schedule and opened the XML file and the channels are layed out as they should be. This means that gbpvr kept those channels when you emptied the EPG because there were recordings associated. Your best bet is to delete the channels with the link maxxgraphix reccomended and that should clear up a lot of your issues. If that doesn't help I have a few more ideas so let me know.

New version released as of 11 Sep at 09:15am EST. This only fixes one bug so its not a mandatory upgrade by any means.

From 1.2.5 to 1.2.6
* Fixed bug where you could click current settings without any being setup and crash the program ([[http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...tcount=156 | ref]])

I just upgraded to version 1.0.016. I am trying to get config program to load the EPG file created from Yapi2xml. Everytime I get a long message that basically says: EPG source does not appear to be configured correctly. The database file is locked. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

If the xml file has been created then make sure in capture settings for the device its set to xmltv and points to the yapi2xml xml file. If that is setup correctly try to load the EPG and if it fails post your gbpvr logs (in the logs folder) and we'll see what we can do.

The XML was succesfully created and I have pointed the EPG Source to it. For some reason it appears the config file is not saving my capture source. I have a PVR150, but when I click on the box in the Recording Source settings that says "Only show devices detected in this machine" its not showing up it shows a PVR250 & PVR300. It use to work when I used the old GBPVR program.

I'm not so sure this Yahoo sked d/l problem is temporary now - it's failed 3 days in a row.

Do you have to have the Yahoo GO TV application installed?

(Just wondering, since it's not Explicitly mentioned in the FAQ or the install directions)

Not with this utility, only with YahooXMLTv.

Try a different time in the day. Like rather than having it try 4 am try like 7 or 8am. That error is definitely Yahoo.

Post in the main support forum with your logs so everyone can take a look.
